The University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus (UPR RP) and the Luis Muñoz Marín Foundation (FLMM) have entered into an alliance through which the collection of architectural photographs held by the Architecture and Construction Archive will be digitized as part of the “Puerto Rico Architectural Historic Archive” project.

A digital portal called Puerto Rico Architectural Historic Archive (PRAHA), composed of 10,000 photographs with their respective descriptions, offers an in-depth look at the history of the country's infrastructure from its beginnings to modernity.

The executive director of the Luis Muñoz Marín Foundation (FLMM), Javier Alemán Iglesias, emphasized that “this is an invaluable project that manages to conserve, preserve and disseminate Puerto Rican historical architectural photographs, documents and drawings that were held by seven important non-profit institutions and will now be available at PRAHA.”
