Resources used for projects of any type must be appropriately credited. PRAHA has established a citation model for projects or exercises covered under the Fair Use section of the Copyright and Intellectual Property Law. Users must give appropriate credit whenever images that reside on the publicly accessible digital platform managed by PRAHA are published, shared or used, which must be used under the aforementioned exceptions.
The elements required to cite resources are:
Name of the people associated with the resource:
Include professional roles or relationships: photographer, architect, client, etc.
“Image Title”
Photo titles are written in quotes, not in italics. Include square brackets ([ ]) if they appear as part of the title of the resource consulted.
Type of resource
In PRAHA, depending on the resource, the alternatives can be image, text or still image (followed by a comma). So will be indicated in the corresponding descriptor field.
Date
Dates associated with the resource in the format they appear.
Editor
For the resources in the PRAHA the editor is: Archivo de la Herencia Arquitectónica de Puerto Rico.
Repository and Collection
Indicate the file that holds the physical resources and the collection.
Identifier
Type the registration number that appears in the field for the local identifier.
URL
Insert the URL of the resource.
(Date it was recovered)
Write in parentheses: (recovered and the date)
