La Palma Building - Mayagüez - 2012 00003

Description

Facade of the building known as La Palma, located on the corner of Méndez Vigo and Peral streets from the municipality of Mayagüez. This building has four floors and its facade is chamfered or curved. The main entrance is accentuated with a green awning. From the second floor to the fourth floor, the facade shows balconies with metal railings, doors with louvers and glass leaves, persienne windows, glass leaf windows, several oculus, moldings and air conditioning consoles. The building surface is gray, cream and green. On the second floor balcony it also stands out a sign that says: "Apartamentos La Palma disponibles para Tel 834-2800". This building was used as a hotel, café and restaurant during the 20th century.
