Art Deco Design
Description
Interior view of an Art Deco house in the town of Moca. The room is decorated with rattan chairs, where there are several people sitting. There are matching, wooden tables and a marble bust. The floor is covered with native tiles and a rug, which covers it partially. The walls and ceiling are made of wood and have moldings in the upper edges, while there are socles on the lower edges. The double windows are made of glass and aluminum with a transom over them. The relieving arches dividing the rooms are surrounded by wooden moldings and have wooden transoms above them.Origin Name |

The title, date, and address were provided by the Architecture and Construction Archive of the University of Puerto Rico (AACUPR). In the file provided by the archive, the following information is clarified: "Fotógrafo: Carol F. Jopling, estudiantes de arquitectura o Earth Watch Volunteers." On the back of the image, there are handwritten notes that read: "187 CAJ|0091|F0009." On the back of the image, there is a stamp that reads "Print made by KODAK Oct 79." Some of the photos found in the archives of this collection are repeated and show the same houses because they document other formats created for the research project led by Carol F. Jopling and were taken on different occasions (example: 35mm negatives, color, black and white, instant photos, photos that were brightened or with contrast).
