Coastal Houses
Description
Main façade of a coastal house on stilts. It is a wooden house with a zinc hip roof. It has a front porch surrounded by a wooden railing. The porch is decorated with a wooden bench. To the far right, there are aluminum jalousie windows. To the same side, there is also a one-story concrete house with a zinc gable roof. It has a porch surrounded by a small concrete wall featuring ornamental blocks, as well as a simple wooden door, and jalousie windows.Origin Name |

Descriptive Notes |
The title, date, and address were provided by the Architecture and Construction Archive of the University of Puerto Rico (AACUPR). In the file provided by the archive, the following information is clarified: "Fotógrafo: Carol F. Jopling, estudiantes de arquitectura o Earth Watch Volunteers." On the back of the image, there are handwritten notes that read: "52 CAJ|0024|F0003." On the back of the image, there is a stamp that reads "Print made by KODAK 0ct 79." Some of the photos found in the archives of this collection are repeated and show the same houses because they document other formats created for the research project led by Carol F. Jopling, and were taken on different occasions (example: 35mm negatives, color, black and white, instant photos, photos that were brightened or with contrast).
