Building 8 - Ponce - 2014
Description
View of houses and buildings in the coastal city of Ponce. The street is paved and there are vehicles traveling. On both ends you can distinguish houses and buildings with different characteristics, the characteristics that stand out among them are Neoclassic and Vernacular styles. To the left far end there is a single story house presided by a balcony with ornamental iron railing modulated by pillars that in turn support the continuous entablature and the roof. The balcony has the floor covered with native tiles and is distinguished by a rectangular opening framed and crowned with an entablature. Adjacent to this there are more houses and power line poles. Aside from that, to the right far end of the street, at the foreground, there is a single story building made of masonry with characteristics of the Neoclassic style. It has five rectangular openings with windows and doors made of glass framed with flat moldings. Three of the openings are crowned with fabric awnings. You can also see adjacent houses and buildings along the street with different characteristics.| Origin Name |
