Description
Inside of a Spanish Colonial-style home. The roof is made of wooden beams. The rooms are divided by semicircular arches without doors. The floor is made of marble with black and white squares and is partially covered by a rug. The room is decorated with furniture, wooden chairs, low wooden tables, and decorative figurines. On the walls, lamps, decorative frames, and religious figures can be seen. In the background, there is a room with a bookshelf that covers the wall. The title, date, and address were provided by the Architecture and Construction Archive of the University of Puerto Rico (AACUPR). Original photograph of the Historic American Buildings Survey (HABS). On the back of the image, there are handwritten notes that read: “171, CAJ|0126|F0001." There are repeated photos in the collection because they document other formats created for the project. Examples: 35mm negatives, color, black and white, instant photographs, photos that have been brightened or with contrast.
