Description

Commercial structure in the town of Ponce. Two-story structure with a zinc gable roof. The first level is made of concrete, it has four doors, each of which has a metallic curtain over it. Above the border of the structure is the business name "Adidas Ponce Sport Center". The second level is made of wood, has four double wooden doors and lattice-style windows. In each door, there are wooden railings. In the background, there is a structure made of wood with a zinc gable roof. It has lattice-style windows and over one of them, there is a small eave and an air conditioner to the side. There are parked cars on the street.

The title, date, and address were provided by the Architecture and Construction Archive of the University of Puerto Rico (AACUPR). In the file provided by the archive, the following information is clarified: "Photographer: Carol F. Jopling, architecture students, or Earth Watch volunteers". On the back of the image, there are handwritten notes that read: "164, CAJ|0121|F0001". Some of the photos found in the archives of this collection are repeated because they document other formats created for the project. Examples: 35mm negatives, color, black and white, instant photos, photos that were brightened or with contrast.
