| Descripción decolonial |
This Designed Criollo Hacienda House, nestled in Hacienda Delfina, Maricao, speaks of Puerto Rico's agrarian past, embodying creole innovations and the hauntings of the plantation and hacienda economy. A front planter, entrance stairs, and balcony with moldering wooden columns evoke history's passage. On the porch, observers gaze in the door, and a child rests at their feet, a vision of the present looking back into the entropic ontology of the island’s architectural heritage.
