The title, date and address were provided by the Architecture and Construction Archive of the University of Puerto Rico (AACUPR). In the file provided by the archive, the following is clarified: "Photographer: Jack Delano. On the back of the image, there are handwritten notes that read: "Near Carolina, Puerto Rico. July 1946. Street scene in a settlement of sugar company houses called a colonia, Fig.33, CAJ|0023|F0001". Existen fotos repetidas en la colección porque documentan otros formatos creados para el proyecto. Ejemplos: negativos 35mm, a color, en blanco y negro, fotografía instantánea, fotos que fueron aclaradas o con contraste.
