Excavation site of the Jamaican train in Hacienda La Esperanza, in the town of Manatí. In the foreground, the area is excavated with bricks on different scales. The area is surrounded by a fence of wood and rope. In the back, there are roofless concrete walls and vegetation in the surroundings.

The title, date and address were provided by the Architecture and Construction Archive of the University of Puerto Rico (AACUPR). On the back of the image, there are handwritten notes that read: "Fig. 31, CAJ|0021|F0001".
