Description
View from the balcony of a coastal house in the town of Lajas. The house is wooden with a flat, zinc roof, and built over stilts. The balcony, where there are several persons sitting, is surrounded by a wooden railing, over which there is a curtain covering the area and laundry hanging to one side. It is decorated with chairs, tables, and plants in decorative pots. Also, the floor is partially covered by a rug, and the roof has exposed wooden beams.| Origin Name |

The title, date, and address were provided by the Architecture and Construction Archive of the University of Puerto Rico (AACUPR). In the file provided by the archive, the following information is clarified: "Photographer: Carol F. Jopling, architecture students, or Earth Watch volunteers". Some of the photos found in the archives of this collection are repeated and show the same houses because they document other formats created for the research project led by Carol F. Jopling and were taken on different occasions (example: 35mm negatives, color, black and white, instant photos, photos that were brightened or with contrast).
