Old Asilo de Beneficencia, Rear View

Description

Rear view of the old Asilo de Beneficencia, Old San Juan, before the restoration works began in 1937. The rear façade of the building has two levels of rectangular windows, with individual cornices on the windows of the second level. Half of the facade has façade between the windows, and in the corner, there is a buttress; behind the buttress, a staircase between the side wall and an annex is visible. On the roof, there is a wooden structure. A gas pump is observed in the building's courtyard. This building was transferred to the federal government in 1937 for military use.
