Description

Building in Calle Caleta de las Monjas 23 in Old San Juan. The building has characteristics of the Neoclassical and the Spanish Colonial Revival architecture style. A courtyard that has a balcony with wooden balustrades supported by wooden beams which connect to some stairs that lead to a lower level can be seen in the upper half of the image. There is a water fountain framed by bricks which form a semicircular arch on the walls of the staircase. The corridor of the courtyard has four wooden benches, wooden lattice double doors, several plants, and a brick floor. This building has been the Hotel Villa Herencia since 2011.
