Description
Diagonal view of a house in the town of San Juan. The dwelling is made of wood and has a gabled roof. It is surrounded by a low wall with an ornamental metallic railing. A front garden with different plants can be seen. The residence has double glazed windows surrounded by moldings, which have decorative metallic bars on the inside. Above the front windows, there are eaves sustained by wooden beams with jerkinhead roofing tiles. Also, a front balcony surrounded by a concrete balustrade is visible, over which there are ornamental metallic bars sustained by columns. The gabled pediment has a lattice-style window and all of the eave has wooden cornices. At the rear, there is a larger building.| Origin Name |

In the file provided by the archive, the following information is clarified: "Fotógrafo: Carol F. Jopling, estudiantes de arquitectura o Earth Watch Volunteers". Some of the photos found in the archives of this collection are repeated and show the same houses because they document other formats created for the research project led by Carol F. Jopling and were taken on different occasions (example: 35mm negatives, color, black and white, instant photos, photos that were brightened or with contrast).
