Municipal Public Restrooms - San Juan (Old San Juan) - 2011 00002
Description
Old Municipal Public Restrooms located south of the Alejandro Tapia y Rivera Theater in Old San Juan. The building was built in 1909 and is painted orange and white. The building has curved corners and parapets with balusters, cornices, and dentils. Rectangular-shaped white moldings frame three wooden lattice windows with a keystone at the top. There is also a doorway with a rectilinear pediment framed by rectangular-shaped white moldings and pilasters. There is also a stairway with railings, trees, palms, streetlights, and a green trash can. The building later became the Municipal Tourist Information Center.| Origin Name |
