Landing in Arroyo

Description

Landing in Arroyo of the 47th New York Infantry Regiment. This unit was part of the occupation forces after the United States invasion. Soldiers, civilians, and horse-drawn carts can be seen about the port. There are various houses and a building with the United States flag. Two boats can be seen on the pier and the Caribbean Sea is also visible.
