Spanish Troops Exiting Mayagüez

Description

Spanish troops in formation at the Colón Square during their exit from Mayagüez. Besides the soldiers, there are spectators, most of whom are on one side of the square, but people can be seen also in the balconies of the houses and buildings. The Christopher Columbus monument, which is a statue on a decorated pedestal, can be seen. Also, the iron lampposts inside the square, which is enclosed by a balustrade, are visible.
