The facade is distinguished by showing the name of the building in relief: "1001 Almacenes de F. Carrera & Hno". The moldings, brackets, upper cornice and the parapet with balustrades accentuate the ornamental elements of the facade. Next to the main door stand out a tiling with the representation of a castle and the text: "The Yorkshire Insurance Company Ltd, Established at York 1824, Incorporated in Great Britain, Agentes generales para Puerto Rico, F. Carrera & Hno, Mayagüez, San Juan, Aguadilla". In front of the building and along the Comercio street there is an automobile and white bags piled up on a blue wooden pallet. This building shows ornamental elements from the Neoclassic style.

Building Moscoso Hermano & Co - Municipal Building - Ponce - 2013 00004

From the square paved and decorated with benches and light poles you can see that on the first floor there are double wooden doors under semicircular arches framed with moldings, flanked with pilasters and crowned with stained glass transoms and keystones. In addition, there are double windows made of wood under rectangular arches framed with moldings. The second floor have double doors made of wood crowned with wooden transoms presided by balconets and an overhang balcony supported by decorative brackets. Both the balconies and balconets have ornamental iron railings and are crowned with a continuous entablature supported by decorative brackets. Additionally, the facade is modulated by fluted pilasters that go up to the second floor and support a continuous entablature with moldings, cornices, a decorative frieze and above the entablature rests a balustrade that surrounds the roof like an open balcony. Aside from that, to the left far end there is an adjacent building. The Moscoso Hermano & Co. building was built at the beginning of the XX century. It was originally used as a commercial establishment until recent years when it was restored and enabled to house municipal offices for the city of Ponce.

Building on Atocha Street - Ponce - 2013 00001

The construction of the Plaza del Mercado Isabel II dates back to 1863. Throughout the years it has been restored in 1903, 1941, 1989 and 2007.

Market Day in Yauco. The sales stands are various types of tables located in an outdoor space. Some of them are uncovered, others have some type of tables located in an outdoor space. Many people can be seen around the stands as well as a one-floor wooden house followed by a two-story building with an arcade façade and then, a brick façade with four entrances.

Everything looks disorganized. Several persons (adults and children) around Mrs. Fela and a policeman in front of all of them.

Outdoor market. People can be seen selling and buying agricultural products. Most of the stalls have merchandise displayed on the ground. Some stalls have canopy roofs. Around the buying and selling area, there are several one and two-story wooden houses. In the background, there is a round structure that appears to be a small kiosk or gazebo.
