View of the Fort of San Jerónimo del Boquerón from the grounds of the Caribe Hilton Hotel. Portions of the small fort are made out of wood with zinc roofs surrounded by a wall with a battlement, parapet, and sentry boxes. The bridge to enter the small fort has two semicircular arches and the entrance is framed by two columns. Next to the small fort, there is a small building with a rectangular window and a flat roof.

Construction Site of the Caribe Hilton Hotel

A group of workers operating cranes and bulldozers on the construction site of the Caribe Hilton Hotel. In the area, there are also sheds for storing tools and construction materials, as well as a concrete batching plant. At one end, there is a multi-level building with awnings on the windows in the Spanish Revival style, while at the other end, the Art Deco-style Normandie Hotel can be seen partially.

Main Entrance to the Building Old Arsenal of the Spanish Navy in the Old San Juan

Facade of the building known as the Old Arsenal of the Spanish Navy in the neighborhood La Puntilla of the Old San Juan. The entrance of the building has the shape of arch and shows elements with influence of the architectonic style Neoclassic. It has four columns with Toscan Order, at the top of the entablature there is a coats of arms, it has a frieze with metopes that shows symbols of the zodiac signs and a sunrise transom made with steel with spirals with S shape. The building is built in masonry, it has a sign of identification that says: "Entrance Entrada" and a steel gate. Also, you can see moldings, cornices, denticles, brackets, balustrades and a window with a steel grill. In front of the building there is a small wall delimiting, a fire hydrant, a sidewalk and the street. Nearby there are trees, bushes and palm trees.

Structures Along the Coastline

Construction of La Concha Hotel

Surrounding La Concha Hotel, there are several Spanish Revival-style houses with small roofs, balconies, and wrought-iron grilles. There are also other modern-style buildings, one of which is under construction at the intersection of the roads. The Caribe Hilton Hotel is noticeable in the background.

Road with Houses on Both Sides

You can see wooden houses on both sides, next to one of the houses there is a corduroy tree. Several people are observed in the street, including some children playing. Van Camp was part of the grounds of Fort Buchannan which came to have more than 4,000 acres in that area so its grounds reached what we know as the docks. These lands, which were used for the camp of troops and other services, after World War II began to be dispossessed of land, leaving about 700 acres
