Francisco Oller Art Museum - Bayamón - 2012 00009
Francisco Oller Art Museum in Bayamón. View of a corner of the Neoclassical-style building, showing the first-floor wall decorated with quoining and rectangular windows. On the second floor, there are two cantilevered balconies with brackets and iron railings. Three semicircular arches with pilasters, capitals, triangular pediments, and composite pilasters on the sides of the arches can be seen. Above the pilasters, there is a cornice, then a parapet, and at the corner, a clock tower. The main facade repeats the design of the side wall, with a balcony and pedimented arches. The building is painted light green and white, with a dark green base. On the sidewalk, there is a fire hydrant, a traffic sign, two lampposts with three bulbs, and parked vehicles. This building was built in 1907 and served as a town hall, courthouse, hospital, and pharmacy simultaneously until 1979, when it was remodeled and converted into the Francisco Oller Art Museum.
