Municipal Public Restrooms
Drawing of the old Municipal Public Restrooms located south of the Alejandro Tapia y Rivera Theater in Old San Juan. The building was built in 1909 and is painted orange and white. The facade has parapets, balusters, cornices, dentils, and curved corners. The entrance has wooden double-leaf doors framed by pilasters, white moldings, and a rectilinear pediment with an inscription in its tympanum that reads "1909". Two wooden lattice windows with rectangular moldings and a keystone at the top can be observed. The sides of the building have two wall lamps supported by brackets. In front of the building, two staircases converge into a wall with balusters and two streetlights. The building later became the Municipal Tourist Information Center.
