Coastal Houses

Pereyó House - 95000435

Interior view of the balcony of the Pereyó House also referred to as the López de Pereyó House, and the Palmira House, in the town of Humacao. It’s a one-level Bungalow-style house made of concrete with a wooden roof. Native cement-colored tiles cover the balcony's floor, and the ceiling is covered in wood. Two French doors topped with matching transoms can also be seen. The residence was built in 1930 and designed by architect Francisco Valines Cofresí.

Vernacular Wood & Concrete Houses

Double wooden doors and single ones of the same material are visible; some have transoms in wood and glass. Also, there are dwellings with metal awnings over the balconies.

Las Delicias Hacienda

Vernacular Zinc & Wood Houses
